You can make a self-referral for services by calling the behavioral health department directly at 3529. You can also be referred by your medical provider during the time of your visit. Utilizing SBIRT (Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment) during a physical with youth and adults can be helpful in determining patient needs. If this is not completed, patients can start a conversation with their doctor to express their concerns. Together, the next steps will be decided.
OASIS is a Staywell program located within the Wellmore adult outpatient addiction recovery site in Waterbury. OASIS is a joint effort between StayWell & Wellmore to provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in the form of Suboxone to individuals who are addicted to opioids (heroin, Percocet, OxyContin, etc.) and are having difficulty stopping use.
